Society: What ideals do they symbolize? What is their significance?
There are so many bands in the world, and all of them have their own sound and their own ways of doing things. Some are widely popular, and others are known by just a few people. Nickelback has had to get themselves through many obstacles in order to get where they are today. They started off as a few troubled guys that wanted to have some fun. They had to get through all of their own problems before they could go anywhere. Once they realized they wanted to pursue the band as their career, they remembered that they had no money, and had to put the band on hold. Luckily, Chad and Mike's stepfather let them to borrow some money, which allowed them to move to a city that would be better for them, where they could have more business. The band also had to deal with a change in drummers quite a few times, and the problems that occurred there. Today Nickelback is an extremely popular band who has fans of all ages and ethnicities. Although they are from Canada, this signifies something in America. It shows us that if you have a dream and want to do something, you can do it no matter what. There may be a million obstacles you have to jump over first, but you'll eventually get there, and in the end it'll be worth it if it is something you love.
